A Word from the Founder:
What a wonderful thing it is to have faith. By definition, it is the evidence of things unseen, the substance of things hoped for, yet not delivered. Not only does God honor it, but He enjoys putting it on display in order to transform and inspire those around us. It doesn’t seem to matter where we come from or how less than perfect our lives may be…because one thing that He makes perfectly clear is that ‘Broken crayons still color’.
EVERYTHING balls down to love. It is the question and the answer to our mere existence. “Who knows why God chooses us to bear the weight that we carry, but perhaps the struggle isn’t for us alone. Our ability to remain faithful, in spite of what we go through can help someone else, but only if we allow them to see. We shouldn’t be so obsessed with an image of perfection that we miss an opportunity to show where grace abides in our lives, because we never know who we might inspire, or when they might in turn inspire us.”-Sindy Pierre-Noel
As much as some of us would hate to acknowledge it, we are no one special; we’re just regular human beings–Warriors, yes, but let’s not forget “the warrior is a child”- Twila Paris
Lately I’ve been winning battles left and right.
But even winners can get wounded in the fight.
People say that I’m amazing … strong beyond my years.
But they don’t see inside of me, I’m hiding all the tears.(Chorus)
They don’t know that I go runnin’ home, when I fall down.
They don’t know who picks me up, when no one is around.
I drop my sword and, cry for just awhile.
`Cause deep inside this armor, the warrior is a child.Unafraid because His armor is the best.
But even soldiers need a quiet place to rest.
People say that I’m amazing … never face retreat.
But they don’t see the enemies that lay me at His feet.Without this extraordinary family of supporters that make it all possible, we would never have be able to accomplish all that we have and all that we ever hope to…
THANK YOU, from the deepest part of my soul!
